How to make it

  • Cream butter and brown sugar. Add pecans
  • spread over unbaked pie shell
  • bake 450 degrees for 10 minutes
  • add pumpkin pie filling
  • bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees
  • don not over bake
  • custard will thicken while cooling
