How to make it

  • Preheat Oven to 450 degrees
  • Cut acorn squash in half
  • Scoop out seeds and discard
  • Cut squash into 8 wedges
  • Place on a shallow baking sheet or cookie sheet lined with foil
  • Drizzle with olive oil
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper
  • Toss to coat
  • Place each wedge skin down
  • Bake for 15 minutes
  • Remove from oven
  • Place small pad of butter on each wedge and sprinkle with brown sugar
  • Continue to bake for 15 minutes
  • Serve warm
