BBQ Hotdogs

- 8 -12 precooked beef sausages shopping list
- 1 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 2 Tbsp prepared mustard shopping list
- 1 egg, lightly beaten shopping list
- 2 cups breadcrumbs shopping list
- 8 -12 metal skewers (or large bamboo skewers which have been previously soaked in water for an hour) shopping list
How to make it
- Spear each sausage at one end with a skewer. Combine the mayonnaise, mustard and egg and coat each sausage (or use a pastry brush), then dredge in the breadcrumbs. This is best done 5 -10 minutes prior to cooking. Barbecue the hot dogs on the solid plate over a gentle heat with a little butter or oil, until golden and hot through
