Ingredients
  • 4 medium apples
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup large-flake oats
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions
  1. Pare apples and cut into small slices.
  2. Arrange in a greased casserole.
  3. Sprinkle with white sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and pour over apples.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees.
  6. Toothpick inserted into top comes out dry.
  7. Substitute 1 can of sliced peaches or 2 cups of fresh or frozen blueberries, or mix them up!
  8. Substitute Splenda for white sugar in equal amounts.
  9. Almond butter can be substituted for butter, or substitute half the butter for applesauce.
