How to make it

  • Combine 1/4 cup butter with minced parsley, lemon juice and cayenne pepper.
  • Beat with electric beater until creamy and thoroughly combined.
  • Drain codfish roe well.
  • Sauté in remaining 2 tablespoons butter over very low heat until heated through.
  • Serve with lemon butter sauce and garnish with parsley.
