Codfish Roe With Lemon Sauce Recipe

	Chefmeow / All my dishes 2 years ago This recipe comes from the Crawford Estate in Quinlan, Texas. I obtained it in 1982 but the recipes in it are all a minimum of 50 years old and in some case they date back to World War II and days of rationing. Enjoy Prep:10m Cook:10m Servings:2	Chefmeow
	main fish cofdish roe lemon sauce peppery parsley

Ingredients

1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

1 tablespoons minced parsley

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Dash of cayenne pepper

8 ounce can codfish roe

Parsley

Directions

Combine 1/4 cup butter with minced parsley, lemon juice and cayenne pepper.

Beat with electric beater until creamy and thoroughly combined.

Drain codfish roe well.

Sauté in remaining 2 tablespoons butter over very low heat until heated through.

Serve with lemon butter sauce and garnish with parsley.
