4 Layer Chocolate Cherry Cake Recipe

How to make it

  • Bake two round cake as per directions on cake box
  • as cakes are baking, whip or whisk heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar together for icing
  • after cakes cool, split the two cakes in half so that you have four cakes
  • place one cake on plate spread thin layer of icing on cake, then spread a thin layer of cherries on cake
  • repeat twice for the next two layers
  • spread the rest of icing and cherries on top of cake
