Teriyaki Bison Loaf Recipe
Something a little different than the normal "loaf"

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. buffalo meat
  • 3/4 lb. mild bulk sausage or ground pork
  • 1/2 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped,seeded green pepper
  • 3 tbsp. teriyaki sauce,divided
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 garlic clove,minced
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp. honey

Directions
  1. mix all ingerdients except the honey and 1 tbsp. teriyaki sauce together thouroughly.
  2. shape into a loaf
  3. put into a 9 x 5 loaf pan
  4. Bake at 350 about 1 hour,or until pork is cooked.
  5. when loaf is half cooked,blend the 1 tbsp. teriyaki sauce with the honey
  6. spoon over loaf
  7. use a meat thermometer or cook until juices run clear and meat has lost it's pinkness
