How to make it

  • Cook rice with the pandan leaves.
  • Combine Coconut milk and sugar in a hot kawa.
  • Stir continuously until the sugar is melted.
  • Let it boil for five minutes. Then turn the fire to medium heat.
  • Add the rice to the mixture then stir until the rice and the coconut milk mixture are evenly mixed together.
  • Heat the banana leaf over fire to prevent it from breaking.
  • Spread the Sinukmani in the banana leaf then serve.
