This is an authentic Tagalog Delicacy! My grandmother taught my father to do it, my father taught me, i'll be teaching it to my daughter as well! She love's it!

Ingredients
  • 1 kilo sticky rice
  • 8 cups thick coconut milk
  • 3/4 kilo brown sugar / panutsa
  • pandan leaves
  • banana leaf , whole

Directions
  1. Cook rice with the pandan leaves.
  2. Combine Coconut milk and sugar in a hot kawa.
  3. Stir continuously until the sugar is melted.
  4. Let it boil for five minutes. Then turn the fire to medium heat.
  5. Add the rice to the mixture then stir until the rice and the coconut milk mixture are evenly mixed together.
  6. Heat the banana leaf over fire to prevent it from breaking.
  7. Spread the Sinukmani in the banana leaf then serve.

Hmmm.. this is a good recipe.. i bet.. i have tasted this and number here in the philippines when the traditional celebration of HOly week comes...
