10-Minute Pizza Bread Recipe
Good for impromptu munchies, such as when kids bring friends home from school unexpectedly, or when you need to eat but don't have time to get elaborate. Also makes a good side-dish for salads or stews.

Ingredients
  • 1 loaf French, Italian, or any long-loaf bread
  • 8 ozs basic red sauce, Pizza sauce, or spaghetti sauce, homemade or purchased
  • 8 ozs grated cheese, mozzarella or a combo of your choice
  • Browned sausage or ground meat, thinly sliced pepperoni, or other toppings according to preference

Directions
  1. Split loaf of horizontally lengthwise.
  2. Spread the halves with red sauce.
  3. Sprinkle a layer of grated cheeses over sauce
  4. Add other toppings according to preference
  5. Place on baking sheet
  6. Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 5 minutes or until cheese melts and begins to brown.
