How to make it

  • Blanched the pork ribs.
  • Put all ingredients except salt in a pot and bring to boil.
  • Once the water starts to boil, turn down the fire to low.
  • Brew for at least 4 hours (to bring out the flavour).
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Serve.
  • Note:
  • The meat from the cucumber is so well cooked that it just 'melt' in your mouth!

    Hi there, just join this not long ago because I saw this recipe online, anyways thanks for introducing this recipe, was looking around for a recipe that includes Old Cucumber. Well, I omit the dried octopus and substitude with Honey Dates to reduce cholesterol, as my folks aren't into octopus. Well, thanks again!
