Easy to make and great for holidays. Use different molds to add creativity. Add prepared horseradish to spice it up. Garnish with cucumber, lemon slices or chilled shrimp.

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 small grated onion
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 15 ounces red salmon, drain
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon dry dill weed
  • 1 cup sour cream

Directions
  1. Blend the gelatin, onion, boiling water, and the lemon juice for 45 seconds.
  2. Put the salmon, dill, mayonnaise, and paprika in and blend for another 45 seconds. Mix in the sour cream.
  3. Put the mixture in a mold or loaf pan and let refrigerate for about 3 to 5 hours.
