How to make it

  • Melt honey, sugar, butter and spices.
  • Pour onto the flour and the baking powder adding the egg.
  • Knead until smooth and form a ball to be put in the fridge for at least 4/5 hours.
  • Afterwards, roll the ball to a 1/2 cm height on a lightly floured surface and cut the shapes.
  • Bake at 170° for about 15 minutes.
  • When cool decorate them using a royal icing made with the icing sugar and half of the egg white adding silver balls , coloured decorations etc.
