How to make it

  • Cream butter and shortening with sugar.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Add lemon extract.
  • Add flour and Sun Drop alternately, beating after each addition.
  • Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 300 for 90 minutes.
  • If you want a glaze, stir a little Sundrop into some powdered sugar and drizzle over top.
