Creamy Pineapple Salad

- 20 ounce can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup (reserve juice) shopping list
- 1/2 pint heavy whipping cream shopping list
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened shopping list
- 1-1/2 envelopes unflavored gelatin shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar shopping list
- Sliced and halved cherries shopping list
How to make it
- Soak mold you are going to use in cold water and set aside.
- Mix gelatin with 1/2 cup water and set aside.
- Heat pineapple and cream cheese until dissolved.
- Do not allow to boil.
- Add gelatin and stir then cool.
- Whip cram, sugar and vanilla.
- When pineapple mixture is cool stir in remaining ingredients and pour into mold.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Unmold and decorate with cherries.
