Veal Dijon

- 1 lb. veal strips, thinly sliced shopping list
- 2 tbsp. butter shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1/2 lb . fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced shopping list
- 3 tbsp. shallots, finely chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup dry white wine shopping list
- 1 cup whipping cream shopping list
- 2 tbsp. imported Dijon mustard shopping list
How to make it
- Saute veal strips in butter for about 1 1/2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove veal with slotted spoon and set aside.
- Saute mushrooms and shallots in same butter.
- Add wine and cook while stirring for about 3 minutes or until thickened.
- Add cream and cook 1 minute and then add Dijon and cook 1 minute longer.
- Add veal strips and stir until heated through.
- Serve immediately.
