These are miniature pecan pies and require mini muffin pans to bake them in.

Ingredients
  • filling ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp butter or margarine softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2/3 cup finely chopped pecan
  • .
  • Pastry shell ingredients:
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine softened
  • 1 cup flour

Directions
  1. combine cream cheese and butter; blend until smooth
  2. add flour, mixing well
  3. refrigerate dough for 1 hour, shape into balls.
  4. put each ball in a greased mini muffin pans, shaping into a shell.
  5. .
  6. mix filling ingredients together
  7. fill pastry shells and bake at 350 degrees for 17-20 minutes
  8. .
  9. may be baked and stored for futrue use in the freezer or store in tins for several days
