Rice Crispie Treat

Kids love these. Grown ups too. Always a winner at birthday parties.
Ingredients
- 60 ml butter or margarine (1/4 cup) shopping list
- 250 g marshmallows (8,8 oz : 0.55 pound) shopping list
- 5 ml vanilla essence (1 teaspoon) shopping list
- 1,5 litre rice Crispies (6 cups) shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter and the marshmallows over low heat.
- Everything must be smooth without lumps.
- Remove from heat.
- Grease a baking tray.
- Stir in the essence.
- Stirr in the rice crispies until everything is covered.
- Pour and press everything firmly into the tray.
- Leave to cool totally.
- Cut into blocks, rectangulars or use cookie cutters.
- You can use any colour marshmallow or essence.
