I love to smell this drink. Sometimes I make a small amount to let simmer on the stove. Smells like the holidays.

Ingredients
  • 1 gallon apple cider
  • 48 cloves
  • 4 tsp whole allspice
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • sugar to taste
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 6 tbsp lemon juice

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large sauce pan.
  2. bring to a slow boil
  3. simmer 10 minutes
  4. remove spices with slotted spoon or strainer
  5. serve hot
