Swiss Corn Bake Recipe
This has been a traditional holiday side for our family. It is a new spin on a boring old side dish.

Ingredients
  • 3 cups corn or 2-9oz pkgs of frozen corn
  • 6oz can of evaporated milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2Tfinely chopped onions
  • 1/2t salt
  • 1 cup shredded swiss cheese(divided into 3/4 cup and 1/4 cup)
  • 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1T melted butter

Directions
  1. Cook corn according to package and drain
  2. Combine corn, evaporated milk, egg, onion, salt, pepper, and 3/4 cup swiss cheese
  3. Turn inot 10x6x1 1/2 baking dish
  4. Toss bread crumbs with melted butter and 1/4 cup swiss cheese and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350* for 25 minutes
