Ingredients

How to make it

  • Dice fish into 2cm pieces and mix with the sliced onion.
  • Wash and drain well.
  • Season with salt and the chili pepper.
  • Toss fish preparation in lime juice and mix well.
  • Let stand for 10 - 12 minutes (until the fish turns very white).
  • Serve ceviche right away.
  • To keep the authentic tone, serve with boiled sweet potato, a chunk of boiled corn and lettuce.
  • I also like to have a plate of lavash or toasted pita tips with this fish.
  • Makes 6 servings.

I am Peruvian and this happens to be my favorite dish! I use lemons when I make it. Other than that I follow your recipe just as it is. I garnish with a slice of sweet potato and a small ear of corn...thanks for posting it!!!
