- 1 lb. lean ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 tube Jimmy Dean's original breakfast sausage. shopping list
- 1 can diced tomatoes in garlic and olive oil shopping list
- 2 tsp. green chilis shopping list
- 1 sm. onion diced ( or may substitue onion powder to taste) shopping list
- 2 heaping Tbs. sour cream shopping list
- 1 pkg taco seasoning mix shopping list
- 1pkg Shredded sharp cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1pkg Shredded Mozzerella shopping list
- Grated parmesan cheese. shopping list
- 1/2 box 16 0z. elbow macaroni shopping list
- 1 bag Fritos shopping list
- garlic powder shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- salt shopping list
How to make it
- Cook macaroni according to box directions, drain
- While the macaroni is cooking, In a large deep frying pan brown the ground beef and breakfast sausage and onion, season with the salt garlic powder and pepper to taste while the meat is browning.
- Once browned, remove from heat and drain the grease.
- Return to medium heat and add the contents of the taco seasoning mix, the can of diced tomatoes and 2 tsp green chilis, mix throughly.
- Add 2 heaping tbs sour cream (you may add more if desired) and again mix thoroughly. Generously coat the top of the mixture with Shredded sharp cheddar cheese, shredded mozzerella and parmesan cheese and mix through.
- Add the cooked macaroni stir and top with crushed Fritos and voila a warm filling dinner is served.
