Ingredients
  • 4 slices bacon, diced or 1/4 lb. sliced Kielbasa
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, diced
  • 1 stalk celery, diced
  • 1 can (15.5 oz.) Goya Blackeye Peas, undrained
  • 1 packet Goya Sazon without Annatto
  • Hot pepper sauce to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Directions
  1. 1. In a saucepan on medium, cook bacon or Kielbasa until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. 2. Stir in onion, pepper and celery and cook for 5 minutes until onion is tender.
  3. 3. Stir in the blackeye peas, saz�n, hot sauce, salt and pepper, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Serve over rice.
