Ingredients
  • 2 cups butter
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rose water
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons white wine
  • 3 cups raisins
  • 1/2 teaspoon mace

Directions
  1. Cream butter and sugar in large mixing bowl.
  2. Add flour and blend thoroughly.
  3. Work in raisins.
  4. In separate bowl beat together egg yolks, rose water, white wine and mace then pour into first mixture.
  5. Blend well.
  6. Cover with heavy towel or cloth then set aside in warm place for 1 hour.
  7. Meanwhile butter muffin tin.
  8. When ready fill openings 2/3 full.
  9. Bake in 325 oven for 30 minutes.
