Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup fresh frozen chopped onions

1 can (10 1/2oz) condensed cream of celery or mushroom soup

1 package 3oz cut in cubes

4 cups frozen southern style hash browns (or country style dinner fries , potatoes O'Brien)

1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

preheat oven to 400

in 1 qt sauce pan, over med heat cook frozen onion until tender. Stir on undiluted soup and cream cheese cubes; cook , stirring constantly until smooth and hot

in casserole dish alternatly layer frozen potatoes and hot cream sauce ending with a sauce layer

cover and bake 45 min or until sauce is bubbly and potatoes are tender.

remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese .
