How to make it

  • Mash the potatoes while still warm and add butter and salt.
  • Add in enough flour to make it a pliable dough, without making it too dry.
  • The type of potato will effect this.
  • Add cheese and two well beaten eggs.
  • Mix well.
  • Make into small round cakes.
  • Dip in breadcrumbs or flour.
  • Fry until golden brown on each side.
  • You can add finely chopped mushrooms or bacon in mixture.
