- 675 g baking potatoes shopping list
- • 1 large onion shopping list
- • olive oil shopping list
- • 225 g porridge oats shopping list
- • 225 g laver bread ( purchased boiled for 5 hours) shopping list
- • potato flour, for rolling shopping list
- • salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- peel and dice potatoes coarsely and boil them in salted water for 20 minutes.
- Finely chop the onions and brown them in olive oil.
- Season the porridge oats.
- Mash the potatoes and add the onions and cooked laver bread. Then allow to cool.
- Shape the potato mixture into cakes and roll in the seasoned porridge oats.
- Shallow fry the Swansea Jacks until brown
