My favorite pecan pie recipe. Always well received.

Ingredients
  • 1 9-inch pie crust
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup melted butter or margarine
  • l cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup pecans (halved or broken)

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Beat eggs, sugar, salt, butter and corn syrup.
  3. Stir in nuts.
  4. Wrap crust edge with aluminum foil for the first 40 minutes or so to keep crust fom getting too brown.
  5. Pour into pie crust and bake 50-60 minutes or until filling is set.
