How to make it

  • In a pot, boil beef in water for 1-2 hours or until tendered. Put salt to taste. Saute tomatoes, onions. Mix it with boiled beef, add sampalok, After a few minutes remove tamarind. Mash and strain the juice. then add the juice of tamarind to the pot. Add gabi, when slightly tender add the sitaw and kangkong stalks. Add eggplant and lady finger. Season to taste. Lastly, add the kangkong leaves.

    This is one of my faves, but my mom uses pork? either way I love tis poured over rice, the veggies are my favorite! Thanks for sharing.
