A really different sweet hot salsa with a variety of citrus and avocado. tasty as appetizer or on fish!

Ingredients
  • 1 ruby grapefruit
  • 1 honey tangerine (or clementine)
  • 1 valencia or navel orange
  • 1 blood orange
  • 1 meyer lemon (if you can get or a regular is ok)
  • 1 lime
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 6 kumquats, minced
  • 1 fresh red hot chili, rinsed, seeded and minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped mint
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions
  1. Peel, seed and segment all the citrus fruit into 1/2 inch cubes, discarding membranes.
  2. Pit, peel and dice avocado.
  3. In a bowl, gently mix citrus cubes, avocado, kumquats, chili, mint and salt.
  4. Tasty as appetizer or on fish!
