Ingredients
  • 6 large baking apples, cored peeled half way down
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 tbsp apple jelly
  • 1/3 cup apricot jam
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup cognac

Directions
  1. arrange apples in baking dish and pour water and apple jelly around.
  2. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
  3. Carefully remove to serving platter.
  4. fill center with jam mixed with lemon juice.
  5. Reduce liquid in baking dish to half origina and add cognac. Pour this sauce over apples and serve at room temp.
