Amaretto apples

- 6 large baking apples, cored peeled half way down shopping list
- 3/4 cup water shopping list
- 1 1/2 tbsp apple jelly shopping list
- 1/3 cup apricot jam shopping list
- 1 tbsp lemon juice shopping list
- 1/2 cup cognac shopping list
How to make it
- arrange apples in baking dish and pour water and apple jelly around.
- Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
- Carefully remove to serving platter.
- fill center with jam mixed with lemon juice.
- Reduce liquid in baking dish to half origina and add cognac. Pour this sauce over apples and serve at room temp.
