How to make it

  • In a large Dutch oven either steam (until the broccoli is bright green) the broccoli pieces using a steaming basket or place the broccoli pieces in a Dutch oven filled with boiling salted water and allow to cook for 2 minutes, until broccoli is bright green. Remove and place in large serving
  • bowl.
  • In a small frying pan place olive oil and heat using medium- low heat. Add garlic and gently cook for 3 -5 minutes. You don't want the garlic to become brown.
  • Add the olive oil and garlic to the broccoli in the bowl and toss to coat the vegetable. Add the cheese and again toss to coat. Serve.
