How to make it

  • brown tator tots till golden brown set aside
  • brown 1pound hamburger meat add garlic salt and pepper
  • drain grease from hamburger
  • add 2 cans cream of mushroom soup to browned hamburger and cook on med heat for about 8min
  • use a glass cassarole dish and layer the bottom with tator tots then spread half hamburger meat over tator tots. sprinke 1cup cheese over that,
  • repeat that process with remaining ingredients
  • cover with foil and bake at 375 for 30min

    What an easy recipe. I used chicken breasts instead of beef, and make my own cream soups. (I like to make my own so I know whats in it) This was a huge hit and will be used in this house often. Thanks for sharing it. I use tater tots when I make italian hotdogs or italian sausage sandwiches. I thaw thwm and break them up and cook with the peppers and onions, saves alot of time.
