One night we wanted something sweet but had nothing in the house. I found some leftover flour tortillas and came up with this. Kids and adults love these.

Ingredients
  • 8 flour tortillas cut into 6 pieces
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp of ground cinnamon

Directions
  1. Cut flour tortillas into 6 triangular pieces.
  2. Fill a deep pan with oil and bring up to frying temperature.
  3. Fry tortillas until lightly brown (about a minute and a half per side...they cook very quickly)
  4. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Mix together cinnamon and sugar in a large ziploc bag.
  6. Add warm tortillas and shake.
  7. Serve!
