Crumb Coated Apples

- 2/3 cup fiine soft bread crumbs shopping list
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup finely chopped almonds shopping list
- 6 large firm baking apples shopping list
- 2 egg whites, lightly beaten shopping list
- 6 tbsp orange marmalade shopping list
- 3/4 cup apple juice shopping list
How to make it
- In a small bowl, combine crumbs, sugar, and almonds. Brush apples all over with egg wites, then roll in brumb mixture to coat evenly.
- Arrange apples upright, sides not touching, in a 7 x 11 inch baking pan. Spoon 1 tbsp of the marmalade into the cavity of each apple.
- Pour juice around apples in the pan.
- bake, uncovered, 350 degrees for 1 hour.
