How to make it

  • In a small bowl, combine crumbs, sugar, and almonds. Brush apples all over with egg wites, then roll in brumb mixture to coat evenly.
  • Arrange apples upright, sides not touching, in a 7 x 11 inch baking pan. Spoon 1 tbsp of the marmalade into the cavity of each apple.
  • Pour juice around apples in the pan.
  • bake, uncovered, 350 degrees for 1 hour.
