Shrimp Fra Diavolo

- 1/4c drained sun-dried tomatoes in oil,chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic,chopped shopping list
- 1/4 to 1/2t. crushed red pepper shopping list
- 1 pkg.(13.25 oz.) whole-grain spaghetti shopping list
- 1 can(28 oz) diced tomatoes in puree shopping list
- 1lb. fresh or frozen(thawed) shelled and deveined lg. raw shrimp shopping list
- 1 1/2c loosely packed fresh basil leaves,chopped. shopping list
How to make it
- Heat a lg. saucepot of salted water to boiling on high. Meanwhile,heat 12" skillet on medium till hot. Add sun-dried tomatoes,garlic and crushed red pepper and cook until garlic is fragrant,about 1 minute.
- Add spaghetti to boiling water and cook as label directs. Add tomatoes with their puree to skillet; heat to boiling on med high and cook 5 minutes to blend flavors,stirring and breaking up tomatoes with side of spoon. Stir in shrimp;cook 2 minutes or until they turn opaque throughout.
- Drain pasta and return to saucepot. Add shrimp mixture and basil to pasta in saucepot;toss to coat.
