Ingredients
  • 100 g butter
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon , nutmeg pwd
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 50 g golden syrup
  • 1 small egg
  • 250 g flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking pwd
  • Stiffer Icing
  • 1/2 egg white and 3 tbsp icing sugar
  • Lighter Icing
  • 1 egg white and 1 tbsp icing sugar

Directions
  1. Beat the egg , sugar and the butter .
  2. Add the remaining ing. and knead .
  3. Chill for 15 mins
  4. Beat the Icing .
  5. Preheat oven to 180 deg
  6. Take out the dough .
  7. Roll and cut shapes
  8. bake for 10 to 15 mins
  9. When cool , decorate
