How to make it

  • 1. Pre-heat oven to Gas 1-2 (300 F or 150 C)
  • 2. Draw a 9" circle on Baking Parchment or non-stick paper and place on a Baking sheet.
  • 3. Beat the Egg Wjites until very stiff, beat in 3/4 of the Sugar, the Vanilla Essence. Vinegar and Cornflour, then fold in the remaining Sugar.
  • 4 Spread or pipe the Mewringue mixture onto the Paper, covering the circle and Bake in the preheated oven for approximately One Hour, until really Firm. Leave to cool.
  • 5.Remove the paper vey carefully and place the Pavlova on to a Plate or shallow dish. Well Whip the cream and pile on top and last of all the fruit in the Centre , leaving the edges free.
