Gajrella Or Carrot Kheer

- 1 kg carrots,peeled and grated shopping list
- 2 litre milk shopping list
- 60 gm. rice powder shopping list
- 1 cup dry milk powder shopping list
- 250 gm. sugar(or to taste) shopping list
- 8-10 green cardamom shopping list
- 60 gm. almonds & pistachios shopping list
- cream(optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Pour the milk in a vessel and bring to boil.
- Once milk is boiled, add the rice powder ,milk powder and cardamoms; keep stirring constantly for 2 minutes.
- Then add the carrots and let it cook on medium heat .
- When the carrots are tender, add the sugar.
- Now, that the carrots are tender and the milk is reduced to half, turn off the heat.
- Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios. Can be served hot or cold with cream.

we have it on special occasions such as weddings, as a first course. we use condensed milk and cream in the mixture. yummy ! nice and rich and FATTENING :) salaams
