Ingredients
  • 5 lb sausage...cooked, crumbled, and drained.
  • 1 loaf white bread...crusts removed and finely diced.
  • 5 cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
  • 20 eggs
  • 2 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 10 cups whole milk

Directions
  1. Cook, crumble and drain sausage.
  2. Remove crusts from bread and finely chop.
  3. Alternate layers of diced bread, sausage, and cheese into a casserole dish.
  4. Mix eggs, milk, and spices.
  5. Pour over layers in casserole.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Bake at 325 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
