Marcias Sauerkraut Balls

- 1 lb. Sweet sausage shopping list
- 1 lb. hot sausage shopping list
- 1 tsp. parsley shopping list
- 1 large onion, diced fine shopping list
- 2 15 oz. cans sauerkraut, drained shopping list
- 8 T. bread crumbs shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic chopped fine shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 2 8 oz. packages cream cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Brown sausage and onion, drain.
- Add the rest of the ingredients, mix well and let sit for 1 hour in refrigerator.
- The 8 T. of bread crumbs go in this mixture.
- After the mixtures sets shape into balls, roll in flour, dip in egg mixture of 4 eggs and a little milk and then roll in bread crumbs.
- Deep fry until browned, usually 3-5 minutes depending on size. I try to make the balls about the size of a walnut.
- Optional:
- You can use Italian Mild and Hot Sausage instead of regular Pork Sausage.
- You can use already 1 tsp. chopped garlic that is sold in jars in the stores.
