Cranberry Jello Salad Recipe

Ingredients

1 bag fresh cranberries

8 yellow delicious apples

1 can crushed pineapple; drained

2 cups sugar

3 boxes strawberry jello

2 1/2 cups hot water

Directions

Grind together the cranberries and apples. Set aside.

Drain the pineapple well.

In a saucepan over medium heat, dissolve sugar and jello in water.

Remove from heat; stir fruit into hot mixture.

Transfer into serving bowl; chill overnight or until set.

TIP: I substitute some of the strawberry jello for cranberry flavored.

I have also used sugar free jello to help cut down on the sugar content.
