How to make it

  • rub squash with olive oil salt and pepper cook in oven 400 degrees 1 hour. Let cool. Put squash in blender puree with two cups of chicken broth.set aside.
  • In large pot add rice onoin.chicken and corn to 10 cups chicken broth bring to boil.
  • add pureed squash.
  • turn down low heat and cook for 30 minutes.
  • skim fat off top if there is any and add half and half.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste serve
