Grilling Sauce for Fish

- 2 lb fish filets, fresh or defrosted with excess water removed shopping list
- 1/2 cup melted butter shopping list
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 tbl soy sauce shopping list
- 1 tbl worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 2 tsp liquid smoke shopping list
- 1 1/2 tbl fresh lemon juice shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Cut filets to serving size.
- Whisk together remaining ingredients in a small bowl.
- Brush filets on both sides with sauce, sprinkle with pepper, and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Place filets on preheated oiled medium-hot grill. Depending on filet thickness, grill first side for 3-5 minutes, basting frequently, then turn filets, baste and grill second side for another 3-5 minutes, again basting frequently.
- Remove filets to a warm plate when fork pierces filets easily.
- Warm remaining sauce and serve with fish.
