Ingredients

2 lb fish filets, fresh or defrosted with excess water removed

1/2 cup melted butter

1/3 cup vegetable oil

2 tbl soy sauce

1 tbl Worcestershire sauce

2 tsp liquid smoke

1 1/2 tbl fresh lemon juice

pepper to taste

Directions

Cut filets to serving size.

Whisk together remaining ingredients in a small bowl.

Brush filets on both sides with sauce, sprinkle with pepper, and let sit for 10 minutes.

Place filets on preheated oiled medium-hot grill. Depending on filet thickness, grill first side for 3-5 minutes, basting frequently, then turn filets, baste and grill second side for another 3-5 minutes, again basting frequently.

Remove filets to a warm plate when fork pierces filets easily.

Warm remaining sauce and serve with fish.
