Dougs Crab Cakes

- 1 8oz. can crab shopping list
- ¼ tsp. dry mustard shopping list
- ½ tsp. Worcestershire shopping list
- ¼ cup fine breadcrumbs shopping list
- salt & pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 tbs. onion relish shopping list
- 2 tbs. mayonnaise or Miracle Whip shopping list
- 1 tbs. vegetable oil shopping list
- ¼ cup dry sherry shopping list
- Jalapeno-horseradish sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Mix together all the ingredients except the sherry, oil and Jalapeno-horseradish sauce in a bowl.
- Form into small thin patties.
- Heat a frying pan and add the oil. Lightly brown the cakes on both sides. Remove the pan from the heat and add the sherry. Put back on heat and continue to brown on both sides until they are a dark brown and the sherry has evaporated.
- Serve with a dollop of the jalapeno sauce on top.
- Makes 8 – 10 one-bite crab cakes.
