Currant Pumpkin Bars

- BARS shopping list
- 2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup dried currants or raisins shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves shopping list
- 1 cup oil shopping list
- 1 (16 oz.)can pumpkin;I used fresh cooked pumpkin shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- frosting shopping list
- 2 cups powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup margarine or butter softened shopping list
- 1(3oz.)pkg.cream cheese,softened shopping list
- 1 tablespoon milk shopping list
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 350*F.Grease 15x10x1-inch baking pan.In large bowl,combine all bar ingredients at low speed until moistened;beat 2 minutes at medium speed.Pour into greased pan.
- Bake at 350*F. for 25 to 30 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean.Cool one hour or until completely cooled.
- In small bowl, combine all frosting ingredients,beat until smooth.Spread over cooled bars.Cut into bars.Store in refrigerator.
