Italian Meatballs

- 1 lb lean ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 lb ground pork shopping list
- 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs shopping list
- 4 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 2 eggs-lightly beaten shopping list
- 2 green onions-minced shopping list
- 1 sm. yellow onion, minced shopping list
- 3 tbsp grated Pamesan cheese shopping list
- 3 tbsp grated romano cheese shopping list
- 3 tbsp minced fresh parsley shopping list
- 3 tbsp minced fresh basil shopping list
- salt and pepper-to taste shopping list
- 1 cup olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Combine all ingredients, except olive oil, in a bowl.
- Roll the mixture into 1 1/2" balls.
- Pour olive oil on shallow baking pan and place meatballs on top; swirl pan around to coat meatballs in oil.
- Bake meatballs for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown, but not cooked completely through. (unless eating by themselves)
- Remove meatballs from oil, drain on paper towels and stir into favorite pasta sauce.
