This recipe is not really "official," it gets improvised every time someone makes it, but here is a general guideline
Ingredients
- 32 oz. can tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 can (8 oz.) tomato paste (with three cans of water) shopping list
- 16 oz. can of stewed tomatoes shopping list
- 32 oz. can of kidney beans shopping list
- 1 - 2 lb. of ground beef shopping list
- 1 large onion coarsely chopped shopping list
- 1 green pepper coarsely chopped shopping list
- A lot of garlic shopping list
- chili powder shopping list
- cumin shopping list
- red pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Add everything together, adjust spices to your preference, let simmer for 2 or more hours
- Top with cheddar cheese, black olives, sour cream and corn bread muffins on the side - yum!
