This is a wonderful rich dessert. Very colorful,and tasty. The best of it all. Fruit, cake, whipped cream, and wine of course! Great afterdrink/dessert all in one!

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c. italin red wine, or to your taste. (I use shiraz)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar ( or more if you like it sweeter!)
  • 1 pint berries. MIx and match make it your own. I love to use raspberries, and blackberries, or even strawberries too!
  • 1 store bought angel food cake
  • whipped cream
  • finely chopped mint or orange zest ( or both) for garnish
  • few grinds black pepper

Directions
  1. Combine wine, sugar, and pepper in mediun sized bowl.Add berries to combine, let rest for 20 min.
  2. cut angel cake, and douse with berry mixture.
  3. Garnish with the mint, or orange zaest
  4. Ta Da!
  5. its that easy, and very yummy
