This is a very filling chili, I love it served with traditional cornbread. For something different serve it over Frito Corn Chips

Ingredients
  • 1 to 1.5 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 medium size onion chopped
  • 1/2 medium green pepper chopped
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 12 oz. can V8
  • 1 15 oz. can kidney beans - drained
  • 1 15 oz. can pinto beans - drained
  • 1 15 oz. can butter beans - drained
  • 2 tab. packaged taco seasoning

Directions
  1. Brown ground beef, drain and place in crock pot
  2. Saute' onion, celery, mushrooms and green pepper - you may add a small amount of olive oil if needed. Add to ground beef.
  3. Add other ingredients, stir together.
  4. Cook on high for 3-4 hours.

Original and very good! Love using v8 in recipes when tomato called for, more flavour!
