Upside Down Potpie Sandwiches

- 2 cups cubed cooked chicken shopping list
- 1 jar (12 oz) chicken gravy shopping list
- 1 can (15 oz) white potatoes, drained, quartered shopping list
- 1 pkg (10 oz) frozen mixed vegetables shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 4 large slices (earch 3/4"-thick) crusty country-style bread, halved crosswise shopping list
- Chopped fresh parsley, optional shopping list
How to make it
- In pot over medium heat combine cubed chicken, gravy, potatoes, frozen vegetables, milk, pepper and salt; simmer, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes.
- Meanwhile, toast bread slices. Divide toast among 4 plates. Spoon chicken mixture over toast. If desired, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
